Clairvaux is a small pool, and deliberately so. Twenty thousand litres, modest by any measure, with a very small wetland alongside it that is there for how it looks rather than for how hard it works. There is nothing about this pool that should be impressive. That is precisely why it matters.
A prototype, not a showpiece
This was the first Eco Fusion. Before it went into a single client's garden, the system had to be built, run, watched and pushed on a real pool with real swimmers, real sunlight and real debris going into it. Clairvaux is where that happened, and it is still running.
Building the prototype at this scale was a choice. A large volume forgives a lot. Water that big moves slowly, dilutes heavily and hides mistakes. Twenty thousand litres does not. If a system can hold water to this standard in a small pool, in the open, over years, it will hold it anywhere.
The pool we bring people to
For a long time this was our answer to the most reasonable question a client can ask, which is some version of: yes, but what does the water actually look like? Photographs of natural pools are easy. Anyone can take one on the right morning. So instead of showing people pictures, we brought them to Clairvaux and let them look into it, put a hand in it and swim in it.
The water quality is exceptional, and it has stayed that way. Not for a season, not for a photo shoot, but as the ordinary condition of a small suburban pool being used the way pools are used.
