Note
Not every natural pool starts as a hole in the ground. Joel's was already there: a 25,000 litre fibreglass pool, [running the way most pools run, on chemicals and a weekly routine]. Our job was to change what the water did, not to rebuild the pool.

We converted it using a gravel wetland. The existing fibreglass shell stayed exactly as it was, and the wetland went in as the biological engine alongside it, a shallow gravel bed planted out and fed from below so water moves evenly through the whole bed rather than short circuiting across the top.

The result speaks for itself. Clear, living water in a pool that used to be a chemical one, and a client who is genuinely delighted with it.
