Originally a fire pit area, this space was reimagined as a natural pool designed to evoke the experience of swimming in a mountain pool. Set in a spectacular beachfront location, it offers the perfect place to cool off, plunge, and rinse away the salt after a swim in the ocean or a restorative sauna session.

The design approach centred on creating a pool that felt fully integrated with its surroundings. Invisible edges allow the water to merge quietly into the landscape, while the existing vegetation, rockwork, and step detailing were carefully incorporated to preserve the natural character of the site. Every element was considered to ensure the pool felt less like an addition and more like a natural extension of the environment.

The finished result is a tranquil, refined retreat that sits lightly within the landscape, combining the raw beauty of a mountain plunge pool with the ease and luxury of coastal living.
