This project involved converting a simple fiberglass drop-in pool using our innovative floating wetland approach. The pool is part of an exquisite home nestled within the pristine Orangekloof Afro Montane forest, complete with a natural perennial river running through the property. The client wanted the pool to blend seamlessly with the lush, natural surroundings, but a large gravel conversion would have been too invasive for this delicate setting.

We opted for the non-invasive floating wetland approach, which included painting the pool black to mimic the look and feel of a serene mountain pool. This method allowed us to enhance the aesthetic and ecological harmony of the garden without disrupting its natural beauty. Both the client and our team are delighted with the stunning result.
